This sector-specific training package prepares you for pest identification to a level of competency approved by MPI.
The program consists of four assessments:
- Standard pest identification testing you for identification of standard pests using the distinguishing features given
- Scale live/dead testing you for identification alive or dead scale
- Pest identification equipment testing your knowledge of pest identification equipment and processes
- Pest identification compliance testing your knowledge of pest identification compliance
Each assessment shows a number of questions. Some questions show one pest image, others ask a question. There may be one or more correct answers. ALL questions must be answered correctly. Once an assessment has been passed, the assessed level of pest identification ability is added to your file.
